Trough feeder
- Product Introduction: A periodic reciprocating feeder equipment for bulk materials.
- Capacity: 10~90t/h
- Applications: This feeder is suitable for short-distance transportation of block materials with a feed particle size of less than 160 mm. In mining, dressing plants, chemical industry, cement, building materials and other departments, it is widely used for uniform and continuous feeding from storage silos to crushing, transportation and other machinery.
- Product Improvements: According to user requirements, the motor can be changed to a speed-regulating motor to adjust the ore feeding amount.

Working Principle
The trough feeder equipment is generally installed at the lower part of the discharge port of the silo. The ore falls into the leakage plate at the bottom of the tank body. The bottom leakage plate is set on the roller, and the leakage plate is connected to the reducer of the double output shaft through the eccentric mechanism, and then connected to the motor through the coupling. When working, the motor drives the reducer through the coupling, and the eccentric plate reciprocates linearly with the equipment’s leakage plate between the bottom of the trough frame and the roller, thereby completing uniform feeding.

Case Study
A Shanxi lead and zinc factory contacted Huston Mining to undertake the crushing and screening stage work. Before crushing, an equipment is needed to feed materials to the jaw crusher. The particle size of the ore to be processed is about 350mm, so a trough feeder was selected. The equipment is hoisted on the discharge port of the ore silo, and can also be erected on the ground as needed. In practical applications, the trough bottom plate strokes up to 60 times/min, the stroke is 200mm, and the material is fed uniformly. At the same time, the setting of the speed-regulating motor provides convenience for adjusting the ore feeding amount.
