Disc vacuum filter
- Product Introduction: A vacuum filter consisting of a vertical disk composed of fan-shaped plates.
- Capacity: 9～116 ㎡
- Applications: Huston disc filter is suitable for processing fine-grained concentrates containing slime. It is mainly used for dehydration of fine-grained materials such as filtration flotation concentrate tailings and non-ferrous metal concentrates. It can also be used for solid-liquid separation in metallurgy, chemical industry, petroleum, sewage treatment, etc.
- Product Improvements: It adopts polypropylene plastic filter plate, which is light weight and corrosion-resistant; the transmission mechanism can be steplessly adjusted to change the spindle speed as needed.

Working Principle
The filter disc of the disc vacuum filter rotates slowly in the slurry tank. With the help of the pressure difference formed by the vacuum pump, the solid particles are adsorbed on the filter cloth of the disc to form a filter cake of a certain thickness. The filtrate passes through the filter cake and filter cloth and is discharged from the central axis. The filter cake falls into the filter cake unloading tank under the action of the pressure wind generated by the scraper and the blower.

Case Study
The filter previously selected by a mineral processing plant in Sudan had high filtration moisture, low cake removal rate, high energy consumption, and poor cloth filtration effect. During the mine reconstruction process, Huston disc filter was selected, which better solved the customer’s problems. Polypropylene plastic plates were also specially added internally to increase corrosion resistance. The indicators were improved by an average of 17.21% compared with the previous filter. The customer was very satisfied.
