XJB rod flotation machine

- Applications: XJB rod flotation machine is suitable for medium and small-sized mineral processing plants to process metal ores with high density and coarse particle size. It can be used in various flotation operations, especially for the separation of lead, zinc, copper, molybdenum, sulfur and silica sand.
- Product Improvements: There is a boss between the tank bottom and the rods of this flotation equipment, which acts as a guide and can speed up the speed of the slurry-gas mixture rushing to the bottom of the tank; there is an arc-shaped flow stabilizing plate between the tank bottom and the rods, which can move around the tank body so that it can be evenly distributed in the tank and move in a W-shaped trajectory.

Working Principle
Rod type flotation machine working principle It mainly uses the negative pressure generated by the rotation of the impeller or rod wheel to suck the air from the hollow shaft, and then the flotation wheel divides it to form tiny bubbles, which are then strongly stirred and ejected by the impeller or rod wheel to fully mix the slurry and air. Under the action of the inclined rod of the flotation wheel, the useful mineral particles of this slurry-gas mixture are selectively attached to the bubbles through the action of the flotation agent (collector), float to the slurry surface, and are scraped into the concentrate tank by the scraper, thereby completing the sorting operation. The structure of the rod flotation machine is an inflatable agitator group composed of an inclined rod wheel, a boss, an arc-shaped flow stabilizing plate, etc. The impeller is composed of 12 inclined cone rods and a disk. Each rod is tilted back at an angle of 45° in the opposite direction of the rotation of the rod wheel, and expands outward at a 15° cone angle from top to bottom. This design allows the linear speed of the inclined rod to increase as it rotates, thereby increasing the stirring effect.

Case Study
Anhui No. 1 Copper Ore Processing Plant chose Huston for the general contracting service of mineral processing. In the flotation process, because the ore processed by the plant has a large specific gravity and coarse particle size, Huston Mining designed and modified an XJB rod flotation machine for it. The steel rods were cast from high manganese steel, and the wear resistance was greatly improved, breaking the previous situation of low durability of rod flotation machines. In the flotation process, the processing capacity reaches 3000t/d, and the energy consumption cost is relatively low.
