Working Principle
In order to make the full-section microbubble flotation machine easy to manufacture and replace spare parts, the plane cross-sectional size of the flotation machine is a multiple of 600×600mm, that is, the plane cross-sectional size is length×width=N 600×600mm. After comparison, it is more appropriate to use a two-stage high-pressure Roots blower for the flotation machine inflation fan. Considering the reasonable selection of the fan, the height of the roughing tank is generally set to 7m, and the sweep and selection tanks are generally 1m lower than the roughing tank. In this way, the cross-section specifications of each flotation machine can be calculated based on the required flotation tank volume. The scavenging and concentrating tanks are generally 1m lower than the roughing tank to facilitate the self-flow of the slurry. The swept concentrate products and the selected tailings can flow into the mixing tank, and are pumped into the roughing tank together with the raw ore to form a closed loop. The full-section air-lift microbubble flotation machine has successively passed the optimization condition test of small machine (0.064m3), the semi-industrial verification test of medium-sized machine (16m3) and the production practice verification of large machine (40m3) in Yantai Yitao Mining Co., Ltd. Through various tests and practices, it has achieved the expected results.

Case Study
Huston Mining originally used XCF-16 and KYF-16 combined units for the Yantai Yitao Company site. The total power of the mixing tank, flotation machine and Roots blower is 745kw. Since the full-section airlift flotation machine itself has no power and only requires a fan, a stirring tank and a pump, its power is 208.5kw, saving 72% of power, and the energy saving effect is very significant. The flotation recovery rate increased by 5%.
